Privacy Policy
Last reviewed 12 August 2026. Short version: there is no user database, and what exists never leaves your browser.
Summary
Extraction Realm Odyssey holds no user records. Your callsign, access code, clearance answer and cookie choice are written to your own browser's local storage and remain on your device.
Stored locally, in full
- Clearance answer — one flag so the check does not repeat on every page.
- Crew list — callsigns and access codes registered on this device.
- Onboard record — which callsign is signed in, so the header can name you.
- Cookie choice — whether you accepted all entries or the minimum.
All four vanish when you clear site data for this domain in your browser settings.
Not happening here
- No advertising networks, retargeting pixels or behavioural profiling.
- No sale, rental or sharing of data — there is no data set to move.
- No email requirement and no marketing list of any kind.
- No attempt to work out who an individual visitor is.
Messages you send
If you write through the signal page, we receive exactly what you typed. Messages are read by the three people who run the station, used only to reply, then deleted once the exchange is closed.
Third parties
Typefaces are fetched from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts their servers and they may log the request under their own policy. Embedded runs load their own assets. Neither receives anything about you from us.
Your rights
Since nothing personal sits on a server, access, correction and erasure are directly in your hands: clear the site data and it is gone. For messages already sent, write again and we will confirm deletion.
Minors
Clearance is 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone younger, and we ask guardians of shared devices to apply system-level controls.
